im getting the same thing.... i used the uncompreesed AVI file to capture the cam... but wont start "0xC00D1199: Cannot play the file" .. i downloaded the file u said above gspot ... and looked aat the file.. the 4CC in codec just says n.a. .. and stat just says Non-AVI File - Type Unknown ... it just doesnt seem to work..

i also did one in INDEO Video 5 ... it works but very poor quality its all blurry as well.. anything u can help me wiv... i also did wat u said ...

i did the video fixer thing u said above... but said the file cant be fixed... for the DLL thing there is only one and its in the Memento LE installation directory

btw the indeo file is uncompreesed and works perfect.. just way to blurry to see aything.. going to try the codec in the link u gave me see if that works.. if it does i will tell u

something weird is happening... now wen i go to record a movie.. it only asks me where to save.. doesnt tell me wat type or anythig... and it dont save it to those locationsSadthey dissappear

i cant remember wat file type i used to get very gd quality.. but in gspot it says in the video section..

4CC - (_RGB) NAME- BI_RGB Raw Bitmap Stat- No codec needed

have any idea wat file i used ?

i been testing it... its working sometimes... out of 6 times it worked 2 of those times.. the rest it killed my yahoo.. so i guess i can get them.. and hope my yahoo dont perform an illegal operation :S .... i think it makes them an invalid format if ur yahoo goes wen recording.. because they wont work wen that happens.. so thats another problem im having sadly :(

xp cd i dont have sadly.. my pc didnt com wiv itSad.. i think i got it to work better as i disabled avg... thoght i uninstalled that.. and works abit better

ok im getting it to work.. my only problem is it shut down yahoo.. i tryied all the suggestions and that scan thing u said in dos prompt doesnt work either.. says its nothing.. i dunno wat to do

wat file type should i use for best quality ? i tried avi.. it dont work... i tried indeo very blurry.. and i tried microsft video 1 .. blurry as well.. wat one is the best ?

sorry about all the replys to my own posts.. there should be an edit feature on here to change them.. anyways i downloaded..

"On to your problem. The Indeo codec does produce pretty bad video. You might want to try Microsoft's MPEG4 codec. If it is not installed, you can download it here:

The video it produces is usually of excellent quality. " this is from an older post u told ...

sorry again.. so far i have this-

uncompressed - dont work (invalid file type)
Microsoft H.261 Video Codec - dont work (it will go but wen done recording i goes to 0 in size)
Microsoft Video 1 - blurry but abit better than indeo
Indeo - works but very blurry and cant se anything

i go to record a video... and it asks me to save.. but never asks me wat file type i want to record... then it never saves them it just disapearsSadwat can i do ?
