The Founder...
Chuck Hedrick, Blue Jean Software's founder and principal engineer, has been developing software applications for Microsoft's Windows enviroment since the late 1980's. Prior to that he developed custom software in C, C++ and assembly language for DOS, UNIX, XENIX and Intel's real time multitasking operating system RMX. Chuck attended West Virginia Institute of Technology from 1979 to 1983, majoring in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and transitioned into software devleopment soon thereafter.
Chuck has nearly twenty years of software development experience including more than seven years of experience developing Windows software specifically for industrial process control and the weighing industry.

Located in beautiful northern San Diego County, Blue Jean Software is comprised of a group of talented and seasoned software development professionals dedicated to meeting or exceeding all of our client's software development needs. Blue i Systems was recently acquired by a large scale manufacturer in the Midwest. At the time of aquisition, Blue Jean Software was using C# and .NET to develop a suite of software products for Blue i Systems that extend and enhance their industrial weighing and control system hardware.
Blue Jean Software recently completed a small project to import and export existing client data with Redwood's flagship product, Bill Collector.
Blue Jean software developed the entire site and all back office data collection and preprocessing.
We designed and developed a subsystem to allow Dr. Divx to write DivX encoded video files to CD-RW or DVD recordable media.
PocketPC client architecture, design, implementation and validation. Design and implementation of UI, internal class structure, XML message structure and some server side components.
Design, development and deployment of production unit test stations that evaluate the functionality of the completed set top Cable decoders.
Designed and developed various components, including UI, network communications, message queueing and database access.
Our founder also cofounded this company in 1998. He designed and coauthored the Spector product and has since left Spectorsoft and licensed the copyright (TX-4-885-784) to the remaining founders.
